As per the scope of work of pumping station contractor at SDHO Drinking water tank area, RTU at each pumping
station 1/2/3 shall be connected to the control center via FOC(24 Fiber).However the integration of this signals to
SCADA will be by NWC contractor

1. All the Instruments & Vendor package items will be connected to the RTUS of the respective pumping
station (RTU 01/02/03).

Integration of Signal in SDHO Control Center: Not in the scope of pumping station contractor at SDHO Drinking
water tank. (By NWC contractor-Tecton Scope)

Concerns (Tecton):

Whether monitoring or control to be done from control center for the pumping stations at Drinking water
tank area.
Cabling from the pumping station RTU up to the NWC control center for integration will be done by
pumping station contractor at SDHO Drinking water tank area. However for termination of FOC and
integration of signals to SCADA at control center, FOC patch panel and Ethernet switches shall be
considered by Tecton.
Details regarding the Increment 2 Potable Water Tanks not mentioned on the received documents. As per
NWC H652 Scope 2 More tanks (Or Groups- To be confirmed) are there in increment 2 and the signals for
the tanks shall be integrated to Control center SCADA.
Mode of communication of Increment 2 Tank s with SDHO control center and the RTU signals details
required for the integration of signal to SCADA system
There is no control valve on the inlet side of the each potable water tanks at SDHO area.

Design basis only mention about the number of pumping station. Detail regarding the number of tanks &
related instruments in each pumping station is not mentioned on the received documents.
