Learning Standard : 2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences from:
a) linear texts
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :
state true or false correctly with guidance
Activities : 1. Teacher distributes simple text to the pupils.
YEAR 2. Pupils read the text loudly.
5 SELASIH 3. While reading, pupils have to identify new words. Pupils write out the
words in their vocabulary books.
4. Teacher asks for volunteers in the class to read aloud and followed by
their friends.
5. Pupils take turn to read.

about what they read just now.
7. Pupils locate the words meaning by using dictionary.
