One piece skirt and top

Yarn: Turquoise, beige, and white - 100% cotton 8/4

2 mm and 3 mm knitting needles

Start at the bottom of the skirt.

Cast on 140 sts with turquoise and 3 mm knitting needles

Work stockinette stitch for 4 cm.

Continue with:
Row 1: * Turquoise, K 1, beige, K 1 *, repeat between *-* across
row
Row 2: * Turquoise, P 1, beige, P 1 *, repeat between *-* across
row

Row 3: Turquoise, knit stitch

Row 4: Turquoise, purl stitch
Repeat rows 1 4, two additional times.

Continue with turquoise and stockinette stitch until work

measures 13 cm.

Row 5: Knit 2 sts tog, repeat across row = 70 sts

Row 6: Purl 2 sts tog, repeat across row = 35 sts

Change to 2 mm knitting needles and work 4 rows stockinette

stitch

Change to white and work stockinette stitch until the white

measures 3 cm.

Continue with:
Row 7: Right side, cast off 9 sts, K 26
Row 8: Cast off 9 sts, K 2, P 4, K 2, cast off 1 st, K 2, P 4, K 2

Now work each upper part separately = 8 sts

From right side:
Row 9: Knit stitch
Row 10: K 2, P 4, K 2
Repeat rows 9 - 10 until upper part measures 6 cm.

Work the other part the same.

Sew up the back seam. Join upper part with back piece.
