I am a student pursuing a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science at Rutgers UniversityNew Brunswick. While pursuing my
education I have worked part time at Larchmont Animal Hospital, a Veterinary Clinic/Kennel in South Jersey where I
learned how to work with animals in a hospital setting. Due to my experience at Larchmont I would be a valuable asset to
your staff as a Veterinary Technician.
While working at Larchmont Animal Hospital from June 2014 to December of 2015, I was in charge of keeping all
paperwork in order, along with making sure all clients vaccinations were up to date when they were boarding. I also assisted
the veterinarian administer vaccinations and fluids, draw blood, and prepare heartworm tests for small animals. When I
wasnt assisting the veterinarian I was making phone calls with clients, discharging patients, and maintaining a clean work
environment in both the hospital and kennel. In the kennel I managed all the boarding animals meals, medications,
belongings, and ensuring all animals were safe and properly cared for. I also built upon my customer service and animal
handling skills while working at Von Thun farms in Dayton from August 2013 to May 2014, where I started as a cashier in
the market. I gained further responsibilities guiding school tours, showing children how to milk goats, helping large groups
with picking fruits and vegetables, assisting with birthday parties, and performing multiple tasks for their fall festivals. In
addition to my work experience I also grew up on a small farm in upstate New York that allowed me to obtain extensive
practical knowledge of more than just small animals including but not limited to, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and
ducks.
With my previous work experience and qualifications I believe I can be of service to your business. If you have any
questions for me please feel free to contact me at any time at my listed email or phone number below.
