opportunities 8-10 photos in it so keep that in mind. Try to have a variety
in your shots in regard to angle and types. For example,
include scene shots as well as detail or close-up shots.

Take your photos. Take your time and try to capture the
best possible moment. If you are photographing people,
attempt to capture emotion relevant to the story. (On a
side not, ensure that you have permission to photograph
your subject).

Compile your photos onto a contact sheet.

Compile the 8-10 photos you have that best tell the story.
Place them in a logical order that sets the scene of the
story, provides details about the story, and then concludes
it. Provide brief captions that explain detail or what is
going on. However, your photos should be able to stand
alone without a lot of explanation. Compile your photo
essay on either a PowerPoint or Word Document. Include
narration, music, captions, or even just silence to help tell
your story.

On a separate word document, write a brief reflection on

your work. Write about what you found difficult or
challenging, what went really well for you, and how the
composition of your photos helped to tell the story. Also
reflect on what career opportunities there might be that
involves this kind of work. Talk about what benefits and
downfalls there might be to that career. You may need to
do some research for this part.
