Description To implement "Free Route Olympic Games" (FROG) project as a set
of 12 westbound Night-Time DCTs in Northern France from 3 entry
points into Reims airspace direct to 4 exit points between Reims and

0500) or 2300-0500 (Summer 2200-0400) UTC, as described in RAD

Route Airspace Karlsruhe/FRAK Phase 3b)
Description 1. To implement Free Route Airspace Concept in Karlsruhe UAC,
FRAK Phase 3b:
a. Completion of the RAD list in East sectors.
b. Certain new RAD DCTs for overflights in the other (complex and
high loaded) sectors of Karlsruhe restricted by time
(night/weekend/off-peak) and/ or MIN FL.
c. Update of DCTs after integration of upper sectors Munich in
Karlsruhe.
d. 165 - H24, Weekend and Night - DCT connections between FRAM
and FRAK (FRAMaK).
e. Development of new route options in the North Sea / Baltic Area
(FRA NUAC, FRAM and FRAK) also connecting with NATS.
f. Creation of a Compulsory Transition Route Catalogue to optimize
vertical transition to / from FRA, to simplify RAD and to enable
unlimited DCTs / FRA layers in Karlsruhe/East sectors (based on the
state of the art AIP SUP 15/2011 for FRA Sweden).
1. To implement Free Route Airspace Maastricht - FRAM , Phase 4:
a. Limited Concept extended
b. Implementation of DCTs within MUAC AoR.
Objective To expand implementation of Free Route Airspace Concept in Germany.

UAC and Karlruhe UAC).
FRAK: As of 13/12/2012, 270 DCTs will be implemented, published
in RAD Appendix 4.
FRAM: Some 300 DCTs out of which over 80 available H24.
FRAMaK DCT connections should be replaced by more direct
segments after OLDI upgrade end of 2013.
Upon agreement DCTs will be extended into adjacent centres
airspace.
