RESEARCH
Principal areas of research: how Western society has been shaped by post-modern capitalism and
neoliberal ideology, especially within the context of rapid globalization; pornography as a form
of symbolic violence; the modern pornography industry as a product of post-industrial
capitalism; the new masculinity and emerging forms of gender bias.
