WHY SPONSOR OUR ATHLETICS
CENTRE?
Being a winter sport your organisation will have many opportunities between April
and September to promote your business across 16 Sunday Competitions, 5 WA
Little Athletics State events and 1 WA Little Athletics Country event.
At Ashburton competition days we should have between 50 - 75 athletes competing

which therefore means up to 50 families. At WALA State events there can be
between 1500 - 3000 athletes competing.
Young people who take an interest in sport are more likely to stay fit for life.
Learning fundamental running, throwing and jumping skills is beneficial to childrens
long term development. Our local Centre within the Shire of Ashburton will inspire
and motivate our youth to have a go and get physically active.
We have a critical need to access the necessary track & field equipment to run our
athletics events. Your support and donations will contribute to the following vital
startup items:
Hurdles
Trailer
Shade Tents
High jump equipment
Electronic timing gates
Shot puts in various weights
Discus in various weights
Javelins in various weights
Long and Triple Jump pits
Grassroots clubs are the bedrock of Australian sporting Culture.
Little Athletics skill enhancement is at the heart of all other sports and has provided
many athletes with development to assist them with reaching the pinnacle in their
respective disciplines.
OUR CENTRE
The Ashburton Little Athletics Centre which is covered by the two towns of Tom
Price and Paraburdoo in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. With many young
families with children within its population, access to localised junior sporting
opportunities are imperative to build a stronger, healthier, happier and safer
community.
The Ashburton Little Athletics Centre (ALAC) will be a body that organises and
conducts weekly competitions for our athletes. Ashburton has an elected
Committee that is responsible for the administration and operations. They will
organise a competition program, co ordinate parental volunteers, registration of
athletes, ensure equipment is safe and up to date, record results, all financial
aspects of the centre and conduct regular meetings.
As a non for profit volunteer organisation, our ability to get started relies on getting
access to financial recourse so we can secure our equipment. Our young athletes
depend on this equipment to be able to train and compete in the sport they love.
SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS
There are various sponsorship options available to your business/company.
All sponsors are provided with exposure and networking opportunities to market
their company to centre members at every Sunday competition in consultation with
Ashburton Little Athletics.
The options provide connection to a successful sporting Centre.
Advertising space will be allocated as set out in each sponsor package.
The centre offers several sponsorship packages:
- Platinum Sponsor
- Gold Sponsor
- Silver Sponsor
- Bronze Sponsor
- Advertising at Competition Days
- Awards Sponsor
PLATINUM SPONSOR $2000 per year
- Company logo on all ALAC committee members polo shirts
- Company logo on all Officials vests
- Company logo printed on a 3m x 1m banner to be placed in the competition arena
and at all WALA State events (Sponsor to supply)
- Company logo to be placed on 25 competition hurdles (front and rear)
- Promotional materials and brochures distributed to all centre members (Sponsor
to supply)
- Company logo displayed on centre website and centre Facebook page
- Full page colour advertisement in Ashburton Competition Booklet
- Company logo to be on all centre emails and letterheads
- Invitation to all centre events, including opening ceremony and Ashburton LAC
awards day (A 5 minute speech is optional)
GOLD SPONSOR $1500 per year

- Company logo printed on hats to be distributed to all athletes. (sponsor to supply)

- Company logo printed on a 3m x 1m banner to be placed in the competition

- Naming rights to two (2) Sunday Competitions. (Can bring products/
advertisements down to the oval)
