• New churches win and baptize more
believers than older ones.
¾ Ages 1-3: 10 salvations per 100 attendees

size by its 15th birthday. (We are 117)

• 55% of Pennsylvanians call themselves

Christian, as of 2000. Down from 60% in
1980 and 58% in 1990.

study potential sites and to formulate a
game plan

The Need for Improved Facilities

• Sunday School class rooms

• Average Worship attendance is 125

in a room that fits 150 (83% capacity)

• Insufficient Restrooms

• Attendees enter directly into

meetings from outside
• Initial Estimate of the Cost: $750,000

• Building Fund balance: $280,000

• Remaining Funds Needed: $470,000

• In 1993, 40-member Bethany bought this

building for $370,000 with half cash
and half mortgage (11% interest)

• The proposal is to raise half of our new

project in cash and mortgage the other
half. This means raising and additional
$95,000 for the Building Fund.
