Talking With Toddlers, 6 February 2013. Accessed 1 February 2017.

h-therapy-sessions.

The source is Talking With Toddlers, the experience is knowing how to communicate
with young children. The source is also trained to talk to kids with disabilities. Talking
With Toddlers, is a parent resource that provides information on children at young ages
and some of the developmental stages they go through. The article provides information
on how most kids respond to their first days at speech therapy on how they will react. The
website also allows parents to comment on how their kids respond to certain articles that
the website provides. The website goes through a series of writers with experience in
working with young kids to write and edit articles. The articles never provide one name,
because the work is written by many researchers on a variety of topics dealing with
children.

The source is a reliable source because of the writers experiences with young children
over the topics they provide. Although the article is a few years old the history and
information the article provides is still up to date today. I would use this article as a
reliable source for explaining speech therapy.

Morey, Angie. Teacher, Lee County High School & Lee County Pre-k, Personal Interview. 2

February 2017.

This interview began with a series of questions that were over Angie Moreys teaching at
the Lee County Pre-k campus. I came to the discussion with questions prepared for Angie
Morey to answer on speech therapy. The main focus of this interview was speech
therapy, and how well it worked for her past students. Angie Morey has had students in
the past that needed speech therapy weekly while at school with the intentions of
correction for the future.

Mrs. Angie Morey was a credibly person to interview because she had dealt with students
in the past that needed speech therapy, and she helped the students with their practices
while at the Lee County Pre-k campus.

Nelson, Amy. Going to a Speech Therapist. KidsHealth. The Nemours Foundation, July 2013.

Accessed 2 February 2017. http://kidshealth.org/en/kids/speech-therapist.html#.

The KidsHealth website provides many articles that parents tend to view when they are
wanting to know about their child's health as they develop and get older. The whole
KidsHealth website provides articles on more than just speech therapy. This article
provides many tips and even describes the types of speech problems and how to identify
the speech impairment. All of the articles on KidsHealth are reviewed by doctors and
specialists in each area. This article describes how the child feels with a speech
impairment and also describes treatment for all types of speech therapy.

Although this article is older, this source is reliable because it has been reviewed by
specialists. Also speech therapy has not changed much, if any in the past 5 years.

Yeh, Katie. 10 Ways A Speech-Language Pathologist Can Help Your Child.

Friendship Circle. Friendship Circle, 28 May 2013. Assessed 5 April 2017.

http://www.friendshipcircle.org/blog/2013/05/28/10-ways-a-speech-language-pathologist

-can-help-your-child/.

This article is about the pondering question that parents of children with speech
impairments face. In the article the writer, Katie Yeh, helps parents understand how
speech pathologists work with children. This source also mentions what a speech
pathologist can do for a child. Yeh also mentions several causes that could have caused a
child to have a speech disorder.

This source seems very reliable because of how organized and broken down each section
is and how it can help a child. This article is timeless because if the ways a speech
pathologist can help a child are helping now, then they will be able to help in the future
as well.
