Sahara. E travels by Air Deccan. A does not go to Ahmedabad, F travels to Hyderabad by Spice
jet, B goes to Chennai by Kingfisher. E does not go to Ahmedabad. G does not go to Jaipur.

Puzzle 2:
Eight persons A B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a circle facing the centre. All of them have
different weight such as 40 Kg, 45 Kg, 50 Kg, 55 Kg, 60 Kg, 65 Kg, 70 Kg and 75 Kg but not
necessarily in the same order. A and B sit opposite each other and B is heavier than only C, who
is not neighbor of A, B is an immediate neighbor of F and D. The one who is the heaviest sits
opposite to H. The weight of A is 60 Kg, F who is just Lighter than A, is fourth to the right of E,
who is third to the right of C, H is Lighter than only D, E is Lighter than only 2 persons.

Moon TV had decided to celebrate sports programmes week by telecasting programmes on
Badminton. Cricket. Football. Hockey. Tennis and Volleyball (not necessarily in the same order)
in a week starting from Wednesday.
(i) Sixth day of the programme was holiday.
(ii) Tennis was telecast immediately after Hockey and Football was telecast on fifth day of the
programme.
(hi) Badminton was telecast on third day after Saturday and Hockey programme was telecast on
fourth day before the holiday.
(iv) Volleyball was not telecast on first day.

Eight members T, U, V W, X, Y, Z and A of a family are sitting around a circular dining table
facing towards centre of table. there are two couples. One who is the grand mother of U, is
sitting fifth to the left of the father of X. T who is the mother of U.. is second to the right of her
mother-in-law. Z who is son of W, is in front of his only sister-in-law. Y who is only daughter of

X is third to the right of her only uncle. V who is not neighbour of Z is third to the riight of W
who is a male. Son of W is not the neighbour of W and Z. A is not neighbour of his uncle.

Puzzle 2:
Ashutosh, Dhanya, Gagan, Manya, Harshit, Pratiksha and Sakshann are seven persons who
travel to office everyday by Virar fast local train which stops at five stations - Borivalli, Malad,
Andheri, Dadar and Church Gate respectively after it leaves the base station i.e. Virar. Three
among them get in at the base station. Harshit gets down at the next station at which Pratiksha
gets down. Dhanya does not get down with either Ashutosh or Manya. Saksham alone gets in at
Andheri station and gets down with Gagan after one station. Ashutosh travels between only two
stations and gets down at Church Gate station. None of them gets in at Malad station. Gagan gets
in with Pratiksha but does not get in with either Dhanya or Harshit. Manya gets in with two
others and gets down alone after Harshit. Dhanya and Harshit work in the same office and get
down together at Andheri station. None of them gets down at Borivali station.

Eight people T. S, A, D, F, G H and K are living in a building of seven floors. Ground floor of
that building is numbered 1, first floor is numbered 2, second floor is numbered 3, third floor is
numbered 4 and so on. Except one floor, all other floors have only one person but not necessarily
in the same order. T lives on 6th floor but he is not the neighbour of A and F. G lives
immediately above the K's floor. There are two persons on 5th floor. Neither G nor D lives on
5th floor. K does not live on 2nd and 3rd floors. Hs floor is not near to Ks floor.

Puzzle 2:
Preeti, Qamar, Ram Sarita Tahir, Vartika and Sachin are seven friends working in TCS. They
work in three shifts- 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
There is. at least one and not more than three among them in any of these shifts. Each of them
get one day off i n every week from Monday to Sunday. Qamar works with only Tahir in 8:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shift and his weekly off is immediate to the next of the off day of Preeti. Sarita
has weekly off on Sunday and she is not in the same shift with either Ram or Qamar. Preeti is in

Puzzle 3:
Eight friends Andaz; Billu, Chirag, Dhriti, Elsy, Fatima, Garvit and Harkirat are sitting in a circle
but not necessarily in the same order. Four of them are facing outside and four of them are fac
ing the centre.
I. Elsy faces outside. Both the immediate neighbors of Elsy face the centre. Harkirat sits second
to the right of Elsy. Billu sits third to the left of Elsy.
II. Dhriti faces the centre. Both the immediate neighbors of Dhriti face outside.

4 scoops of Kwality ice-cream and he bought greater number of scoops of Naturals ice-cream
than Kwality ice-cream. V bought 3 scoops of Mother Dairy ice cream and B bought 3 scoops of
Naturals ice-cream. R did not buy one scoop of Mother Dairy ice cream. He bought 3 scoops of
Amul ice cream and 2 scoops of Kwality ice cream. V did not buy 2 scoops of Amul ice cream

Puzzle 2:
Eight friend Dewey. Deniyal, Denmark. Denim. Decosta, Dutch, David and Delnaaz are sitting
around a circular table and all are facing towards, the center but not necessarily in same order.
Each of them represents eight different companies viz. Phillips, Lenovo, Sansui, Apollo, Nikon,
Aiwa, Uptron and Tata. Dutch sits second to the right of representative of Aiwa. Representative

such a way that only four girls are facing towards south, but not necessarily in the same order,
Mona sits fourth to the left of Radha who is not the neighbour of Kirti. Priya is second to the
right of Ravina who does not face towards north, The one who is third to the right of Mona, faces
south, Mini and Rini are neighbours of each other. Rini is third to the right of Radha, Directions

Puzzle 1:
Eight friends are sitting in two parallel rows containing four people each, in such a way that there
is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row-1 R, T, Z and O are seated (but not
necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing East. In row-2 N, M, P and Q are seated
(but not necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing West. Therefore, in the given
seating arrangement each friends seated in a row faces another friends of the other row. N sits
second to the left of P who has two neighbours. Z is not sitting at a corner and he does not faces
P. O is a neighbour of T but not of Z. M does not face Z.

Puzzle 2:
Seven persons R, J, M, Q, L. T and K conduct workshop on Developing Managerial skills in
seven different companies A. B. C. D. E. F and G on a different day of the week from Monday to
Sunday, The order of persons, companies and days of the week are not necessarily the same, J
organizes workshop in Company D on Wednesday. Q does not conduct workshop for companies
A or C and conducts on the next day of L who conducts the workshop for Company F. T
conducts workshop for Company E on Friday. K conducts workshop on Monday but not for
Company C or G. M conducts workshop for Company A but not on Tuesday.

Puzzle 3:
There are three houses on each side of the road. These six houses are labeled as P, Q, R, S, T and
U. The houses are of different colours, namely, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow and White.
The houses are of different heights. T, the tallest house, is exactly opposite to the Red coloured
house. The shortest house is exactly opposite to the Green coloured house. U, the Orange
coloured house, is located between P and S. R, the Yellow coloured house, is exactly opposite to

than R, but shorter than S and Q.

Puzzle 1:
Four students Amit, Bhanu, Sachin and Jagan participated in a quiz competition. It is known that
the person who was wearing the black t-shirt won the quiz. All of them were sitting in a row. All
of them wore t-shirts of different colours, viz. red, black, white and green. There was only one
runner-up and he was sitting beside Jagan. The runner-up was wearing the red t-shirt. Sachin was
not sitting at the ends and was not the runner-up. The winner and the runner-up were not sitting
adjacent to each other. Jagan was wearing white t-shirt. Amit was not wearing the red t-shirt.
Students wearing black t-shirt and white t-shirt were at the ends.

Puzzle 2:
Six persons Chetan, Gaurav Jatin. Karan, Sahil and Tarun who are wearing Black, White, Red,
Green, Blue and YeIlow coloured t-shirts are driving different cars -Verna, City, SX4, Vento,
Optra and Civic not necessarily in that order, these persons had participated in a car racing
competition at the end of which each of them secured different ranks. It is also known that:
(i) Tarun secured 4th position and was driving City
(ii) The person wearing blue coloured t-shirt was driving Vento and didn't secure 2nd position

(iii) Karan wearing white coloured t-shirt was not driving Verna or Optra and he was not ranked
1st (iv) The person wearing green coloured t-shirt was ranked 6th and he was driving Optra
(v)The person who secured 3rd position was driving Civic
(vi) The person who secured 1st rank was driving 3X4 and he was not wearing black or red
coloured t-shirt
(vii) Chetan was wearing yellow coloured t-shirt while Tarun was not wearing red coloured t-
shirt

Puzzle 3:

Seven students Rahul, Abhinav, Akash, Arnav, Kartik, Paridhi and Saumya are studying in seven
different schools- BPS, BSNr CMS, RLB, DPS, SDA and LPS. They like different subjects-
Maths, Science, Art, Hindi, English, Moral science and History. They read in different classes
IV, V, VI, VII, VIH, IX and X, but not necessarily in the same order, Kartik studies in DPS and
he is in class VI. Akash's favourite subject is English and he studies either in BSN or CMS. One
who reads in CMS is in class V and likes Science. Paridhi does not like either Art or Moral
Science and she is in class X and studies in LPS. One who reads in DPS likes Art. Arnav does
not like Science and he is in class IV. Saumya is in class VIH and does not study in 3PS.One
who studies in SDA, is in class VII. Rahul is not in class VII. One who is in class IV likes
History. Abhinav does not like Hindi and Moral science.

dinner. Two parallel rows of chairs containing six people each are set in such a way that there is

but not necessarily in the same order. Each of them likes different types of food, viz Indian,
African, English, French, German, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Spanish, Korean and
Russian, but not necessarily in the same order. C, who likes German food, sits third to the left of
B. C is not an immediate neighbour of either E or A. P, who likes Korean food, sits third to the
right of S. Neither P nor S sits at the extreme ends. E, who likes Indian food, faces the one who
likes Mexican food. F, who likes English food, faces O, who sits second to the left of T and does
not like French food. T is not an immediate neighbour of S. Only two people sit between Q and
T, who like Russian and Thai food respectively. D, likes neither African nor French food who

Puzzle 2:
Eight friends, A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, are sitting around a square table in such a way that four
of them sit on four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides.
Each of them likes different motor bikes, viz Avenger, Pulsar, Suzuki, Yamaha, Karizma,
Splendour, Apache and Activa. The ones who sit on the four corners face the centre while those
who sit in the middle of the sides face outside, but not necessarily in the same order. A, who
likes Pulsar, faces the centre and sits third to the right of F. E, who faces the centre, likes Activa
and, is not an immediate neighbour of F. Only one person sits between F and G and they like
Karizma and Suzuki respectively. D, who does not like Splendour, sits second to the right of B,
who likes neither Avenger nor Splendour. D faces the centre. C is not an immediate neighbour of
A. H likes Apache.

Puzzle 3:
Six persons, viz Sinha, Saini, Bhagat, Yadav, Gupta and Mishra plan to go to six different hill
stations, viz Manali, Kullu, Mussourie, Rishikesh, Shimla and Nainital. They wish to go in six
different months, viz January, March, May, June, August and December. Two of them want to
travel by bus and two by rail and others are planning to go either by car or by flight. Following
information is also given. I. Gupta goes to Manali but neither by air nor by bus. II.Sinha prefers
bus journey but travels neither in August nor in May. III. Neither Mishra nor Saini goes either to
Shimla or to Mussourie. IV.Rishikesh is visited in December. V. Persons going to Kullu and
Shimla go by bus and car respectively. VI.Mr Bhagat goes to Nainital in March by air but Mishra
does not travel in December.

Puzzle 2:
Six persons A, B, C, D, E and F are sitting around a round table facing towards the centre of the
table in a restaurant. They have ordered for different items (Pizza, Strawberry, Vanilla, Burger,
Pastries and Patties) as their lunch. They are wearing Tshirts of different colours, i.e. white,
black, green, red, yellow and blue. Order of items for the lunch and colours of T-shirts are not
necessarily according to the order of their names. The persons who have ordered for Pizza,
Vanilla and Pastries are neither in white Tshirt nor in black. The persons who are in green and
yellow T-shirts have neither ordered for Pizza nor for Vanilla. A is neither in white T-shirt nor
on the immediate left of the person who has ordered for Burger. The only person who is between
E and F eats Strawberry. The person who is on the left side of the person in white T-shirt does
not eat Patties. D has ordered Burger and the colour of his T-shirt is green. He is facing the
person who has ordered for Strawberry. One who has ordered for Pizza is seated opposite to the
person wearing blue T-shirt, while the person whose T-shirt is of green colour is on the left of
the person who has ordered for Pastries. One who has ordered for Patties is on the immediate
right of the person in white T-shirt but on the immediate left of the person who has ordered for
Vanilla. C has not ordered for Vanilla while F has not ordered for Pizza.

Puzzle 3:
There are five types of cards viz. A, B, C, D and E. There are three cards of each type. These are
to be inserted in envelopes of three colours Red, Yellow and Brown. There are five envelopes
of each colour. B, D and E type cards are inserted in red envelopes. A, B and C type cards are to
be inserted in yellow envelopes and C, D and E type cards are to be inserted in brown envelopes.
Two cards each of B and D type are inserted in red envelopes.
