Note Chapter 4 and 5 of Entry Points

- Knowledge is seen to be objective and neutral, not necessarily requiring personal

commitment or a response.

- An education based on these ideas is costly in social and environmental terms, creating a

dysfunctional society. People like Attenborough can have a lot of information but they

dont, in a biblical sense know, because they dont see what that knowledge means;

they cant relate it properly to where everything is going and what its here for.

- Wisdom and knowledge are often linked in the scriptures both originating in the fear of

the LORD (Proverbs 9:10; 8:32-36). Human beings are created in the image of God,

distinct from the rest of creation, and endowed with certain qualities which reflect the

nature and character of God.

- God created man in his own image (Genesis 1:27) and, even though the image is

spoiled, human beings continue to bear evidences of the image of God.

- Human beings have a particular nature, with certain characteristics and abilities which

allows the fulfillment of the task. These reflect Gods infinite, independent and absolute

nature in a finite, dependent and conditioned way. The child is a sinner and the child can

be a new creature in Christ.

- A biblical view of the child needs to be taken into account in any model of learning

which is developed.

- The general understanding which prevails among educators now is that whatever the

ability of a child, personal worth and value comes before what their can do or achieve.
Reflection of Chapter 4 and 5 of Entry Points

The main point of this both articles is to help the christen teachers to understand more

about the Bible and to help the christen teachers to know when they are teaching to the students

or children those teachers have to include the Bible to the lesson because that is every important

for the christen teachers to know that education is important for the children. I love this part The

child is a sinner and the child can be a new creature in Christ. Teachers should know and should

understand when you see the children could not study or we can say that the children are not

getting anything from the lesson, thats fine. If they could not get the lesson from the class

teachers can help those children to know God, and say God love them even though they are not

good of learning. God want their heart, not about what good grade or bad grade. The point of the

christen teachers are the same goal that is to help the children or people to know God and to pray

to God whatever they need help. So, Christian teachers have to encourage the students to pray to

God because God is the wisdom, Wisdom and knowledge are often linked in the scriptures both

originating in the fear of the LORD (Proverbs 9:10; 8:32-36).

The Christian teachers have to explain to the children that they are the God image; the

teachers also have to know who you are and why you want to be a teacher, and what to teach.

Kid or children is like a white paper, if we say or we do something they will do just like what we

say and what we are do. So, as teachers Christian teachers should include the Bible into the

lesson, so that the child can know and follow what we are saying to them. It is not matter when

they become adult and they doesnt want to follow Jesus that is their choice, but our goal is to

telling the truth to everybody to know God.
