We met at the job fair that was hosted at Durham College last week. I was
very impressed with your organization and the kind of work that you provide. I am
very interested in being a part of the programs and services you provide for young
women and am sending you a copy of a resume as I said I would.

I will be graduating from Durham College in a week with a diploma in Social

Service Work. I spent the last two years focusing on skill sets and learning theories
that would be useful in this field. Along with this I spent a year attending placement;
four months at Girls Incorporated and eight months with The Living Room
Community Art Studio. These placements taught me a lot about myself as a person
and a Social Worker, and I have been able to learn and grow in the field. While
attending these placements I learned that I am interested in working with children.
