Austin Carter Mahone (born April 4, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas, United States), known simply as
Austin Mahone, is an American singer and songwriter.3 It was released in mid-2010 through
YouTube, By which it raised its own versions of songs of artists like Justin Bieber and Jason Mraz.
In 2012, he signed a record deal with Chase, Young Money, Cash Money Records and Republic
Records, to release his "11:11", "Say Somethin" and "Say You're Just A Friend" singles later this

Biography and career as a singer [edit]


1996-2012: Childhood and musical beginnings [edit]
Austin Mahone was born on April 4, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas, United States, under the name of
Austin Carter Mahone.5 His father Edgar Mahone died when he was sixteen months old (one year
and four months). Was raised as an only child by his widowed mother, Michelle Mahone.
Throughout his childhood, he studied at Lady Bird Johnson High School.6 While still a young man,
Mahone and his mother moved to Miami, Florida.7

In the middle of 2010, Mahone began to publish through YouTube its own versions of songs of
singers like Justin Bieber and Jason Mraz. In 2011, his videos gained popularity so his mother
helped him get a record deal, which he signed in August 2012 with Universal Music Group. The
singer stated that before signing, he had received offers from Warner Bros. Records, Island Def
Jam and Epic Records, although he did not specify why he decided on Universal.7 His debut
debut, "11:11" reached the nineteenth position of the count Heatseekers Songs on Billboard, and a

On July 25, 2014, Mahone began his second tour, Austin Mahone: Live on tour [29]. In November,
Mahone indicated that he would dedicate himself to work on his first studio album, which would be

continued "Do It Right", "On Your Way", "Not Far" and "Put It On Me", which he released for free

On December 7, 2016 via Facebook Live, Mahone announced their second mixtape, titled ForMe +
You, which was released on December 29, 2016. "Lady" served as the first single, a remix of the
"2001 Lady (Hear Me Tonight) "of Modjo, next to" Pitbull ". The song was released as a preview on
December 22, 2016, and officially released on December 30, 2016.
