Central Focus:
Using apple cut outs to make different patterns of numbers, letter, and colors.

Assessment Strategies:
Observational notes taken during small group time when children are creating their own
patterns.

Modifications:
For apple patterns, some students might need help with each pattern. If students dont know
their letters or numbers, you could start the pattern activity with just using the different
colored plain apples.
