GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

We are an ISO 50001:2011 company. We are committed to conserve energy & take utmost care of our environment. We encourage our suppliers to
have EnMS certification. Please inform us if you need any type of assistance in the process of certification.
Procurement related to energy equipments & services are partly evaluated on the basis of energy performance.
1) Please send us your acceptance of our orders in totality. If the acceptance is not received within seven days from the date
of the order, we presume that the order is acceptable by you.
2) All the necessary documents viz., copy of the invoices including original for buyer & duplicate for transporter, delivery challan, Excise Duty
Gate Pass etc. should necessarily accompany the consignment & to be submitted in stores department. We shall not be liable to take delivery of
goods without proper documents.
3)Goods supplied against the order, if rejected, shall be uplifted within 15 days after rejection. The goods shall be repaired and / or replaced,
unless otherwise stipulated within 30 days time from the date of receipt at your cost. To & fro transportation in such case shall be borne by you. If
the rejected goods are not uplifted within 30 days from the date of rejection, we shall have right to scrap the goods without any further intimation.
4) Unless otherwise stipulated, the goods / equipments supplied against this Purchase Order shall stand guarantee for a period of 12 months
from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the delivery whichever is earlier.
5) Please enclose your in-house inspection report / certificate for the supplied material while delivering the material along with the other delivery
documents.
6)Unless otherwise stipulated, weight recorded at our works shall be deemed final
7)Deliveries against the order shall be liable for suspension at our request in the event of strikes, accidents or any other disabling circumstances
beyond our control.
8)Delivery is the essence of the purchase order. Until & unless delivery is deferred by us, all the delivery shall be sent as per the schedule
indicated. We shall have right to reject the material if not delivered in time and cancel the shipment / order after expiry of the scheduled date
without any information thereof.
9)The information contained in this Contract / Purchase Order / Work Order is privileged information of JSW Steel Coated Products Ltd. and
should not be disclosed or reproduced to any external person or parties or organization by you.
10) Any disputes arising out of this Contract / Purchase Order / Work Order shall lie within the jurisdiction of the Courts in Mumbai.
11)This Purchase order shall be subject to force majeure conditions, limited, to invasions, hostilities, embargoes, strikes, lock-outs, sabotages
Civil commotion, and acts of God such as earthquake, fire, flood, etc. In case, any of the majeure conditions take place during the currency of the
contract, the delivery period shall be suitably be extended, as mutually agreed upon Force majeure conditions. However your right to an extrusion
of the time limit for completion of the supplies / work contract in the above mentioned cases is subject to the following procedure:
12)You shall have to inform us in writing that you consider your self entitled to an extension of the time limit within 10 days after occurrence of a
force majeure but before the expiry of the stipulated dated of completion whichever, is earlier
a) You shall have to produce the evidence of the date occurrence and the duration of the force majeure by means of document drawn up by the
responsible authorities.
b) You shall to prove that the said conditions have actually interfered with the carrying out the contract and the delay incurred is not due to your
own action or lack of action.
c) Apart form extension of time limit the force majeure shall not entitle you to any compensation of damage
13) We are an ISO 9001:2008 company. We take utmost care of our environment. Please ensure following (wherever applicable)
While transporting goods to our company, ensure:
o Leakages free vehicle
o Valid license
o TREM card
o Valid PUC certificate.
14) Please provide Material Safety Date Sheet (MSDS) & information about the environment impacts associated with your products, prior to
delivery.
15) If any failure happens during transit of goods to our company which may cause environment hazard. It will be your responsibility to mitigate
the same.
16) We encourage our suppliers to have QMS and EMS certification, please inform us if you need any type of assistance in the process of
certification.
