Learning activities
Complete the following table and answer the questions below

Whole class activities
The teacher show the students different picture
Picture cards cards that contain a word and a picture , and
they have to spell it write.
Student answer by raising their hands.

Small group/paired
activities The teacher have diveded the class into
different groups, pink group, yellow group,
Woeksheet brown group, and blue group, each group
contain 5 students.
Whenever she do a worksheet she call the
group name and the students gather around
her, and start solving the worksheet after she
explain it to them. And whenever she finish
with one group she call the other and so on, ..

Independent activities
Whenever the teacher teachs the students a
Creating a litter by using new litter, she call a group name and students
a clay. gather around her and then she give each
student clay and make them create the litter
they have learned individualy.
1. How does the teacher make sure the students are prepared for the day?
After reviewing what they have studied before, and after giving them a
small hint about what they are going to take and they answer with
excitement.

2. How many tasks do they complete in one hour? One or two.

3. Did the teacher use a variety of different types of learning activities? Yes

4. What materials did they use? Clay, papers, small white boards.. etc.

5. Were the instructions, explanations and questions clear and appropriate for
the students needs? Give examples. Yes, for example she give instructions
before starting the activity and repeat it 2 times so that they understand
then they start doing the activity.

6. What strategies did the teacher use to ensure the students understand what
they are about to do? By asking if everyone understands. By repeating the
instructions before starting the activity.

7. How does s/he make sure all students are involved and attentive? When
they work the way she ask them to do.

8. What signals can you identify that they have had enough? When they move
a lot, when they yawn, and when they start looking around as if they're
searching for something.

9. What signals that they are proud of their achievement or disappointed?


When they keep on calling the teacher to see their work.

10. How do they demonstrate their frustration? From their face reaction.

11. Do they observe others? Yes, each student observes the other.
12. Do they interact with another child during the task? If the task includes
group/ pair work they do interact with each other.

13. What do they say or do while completing the tasks? Whenever they
complete a task they either raise their hand to show that they're done or
call the teacher in a polite way. And some of the student shout.
