Standards
Learning : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to;
Objectives 1. use preposition correctly and appropriately.
Activities : 1. Teaher shows a preposition video and asks question.
2. Teacher shows the picture cards (as in the textbook page
31).
3. Pupils drill the sentences by reading and do the actions
guided by teacher.
4. Teacher shows a mystery box containing a few sentence
cards.
5. Teacher asks two pupils at a time to pick a card in the
mystery box and act out. The selected pupils will wear on
the cat and the mouses mask.
6. Teacher will pick 2-3 pupils to answer individually and as a
whole class.
7. Teacher distributes a task sheet (textbook page 31) to
access pupils understanding of the usage of preposition in
sentences. Teacher explains what the pupils need to do
and shows them an example of how it is done.
(Remedial: Teacher will give 2 choices for them to choose.)
8. Teacher asks the pupils to complete the task within 10
minutes.
9. Teacher asks the pupils to exchange their task sheet upon
completion for peer correction. Teacher confirms the
answer(s).
10. Teacher closes the lesson by putting up the Jazz Chant
