There needs to be at least two teams for the activity (Depending on the number of people
determines the number of persons on each team or if more than two are needed)
1) Pick a few popular songs, and write down one or two verses leaving out a couple of
words from different lines.
2) Write the tittle of the song next to the verse to ensure you know the right answer
3) Introduce the activity
4) Put the participants in two or more teams
5) Decided which team will go first and follow
6) Start saying one of the verses wrote down to appropriate team
7) Theyll to guess the lyric, if they do not guess it correctly or before the time runs out
(determined by the therapist), pass it to the next team.
8) The team with the most correct answers wins.

Leadership Considerations:
1) The facilitator should not be helping the participants at guessing the lyric or song. Which
allows them to use their teammates as resources. This will also improvement social and
cognitive interaction skills. This type of game can be used for participants with anger
management or Bipolar disorder. These type of participants has a tendency to lose focus
and not participate in activities due to their disorder. It would be ideally to make sure
they are monitored throughout the activity to prevent anything from happening. It would
be a good idea to demonstrate the activity first with some lyrics of favor song chose by a
participant. This will show them how the people on their team can be very resourceful,
and how this game can produce friendships amongst them. To endure that the
participants are not lost a list of songs that they all know or listen to would be the
preferred lyrics to have.
2) This game can be altered in many ways; the alterations can be determined by the
faciliatory after running through the game a few times. Things such as a time increase
for participants who might need it or even reducing the time making it more challenging
to guess the lyric. The songs can be changed to songs of their childhood which can lead
to reminiscing on the good ole days. This activity can be used for just about any
populations to allow anyone to be part of a team and enhance their social and cognitive
skills!
