plans to support the delivery of explicit instruction to improve student achievement and

Significance: The teacher will review with students the structure and
organization of Congress. There are 535 members of Congress: The exact size
of the House of Representatives, currently at 435 members, is determined by
Congress, and members of the House of Representatives serve two-year
terms. The Constitution says that the Senate shall be composed of two
Senators from each State. Todays Senate consists of 100 Senators, which
serve for six year terms.
