transcript in the handout given based on the dialogue
in the audio recording played as well as choose the
correct answers based on the dialogue in the audio
recordings.

Prior Knowledge Students have learned the following items in previous

classes:
Eating Healthy Food and Road Safety

Instructional Aids Textbook (pg. 67 and 69), Audio tape, speakers,

laptop, handout.

Set Induction (5 minutes) 1. Teacher draws a school on the board.

2. Students are asked some questions:

Why do you need to come to school ?

What will you get if you come to school
and what will happen to you if you skip
school ?

Content Development (62 minutes) Step 1: Pre Listening:

1. Students are asked to describe about their
activities, dress, and subjects taught in school.

Step 2: While Listening

2. Students are instructed to listen carefully to
the audio recording that will be played while
filling in the blanks in the transcript in the
handout given.
3. The audio recording is played and students
complete the transcript correctly.

4. The recording is replayed for students to
recheck their answers.
5. The answers are checked together.

Step 3: Post Listening

6. For the next activity, students are then asked
to choose the correct answers based on the
dialogue in the recording played earlier.

7. After they finished answering the questions,
students are picked randomly to read aloud
the answers.
8. Students are asked to open the textbook on
page 69 and complete the mind map in Task
A and the answers are discussed together.

Closure (3 minutes) 1. 1) Teacher restates the contents.
