Washington D.C. & New York City


Departing Tampa: May 29th, 2018 - Returns: June 2nd, 2018

Dear Parents or Guardians,


Were pleased to announce that we have organized a school
trip to Washington D.C. and New York City!
In May of 2018, several teachers and I will be leading this
trip to explore our Nations Capital and New York City. This
is a great opportunity to have classroom lessons come to
life, and a chance to discover more about the world.
I will be hosting an enrollment meeting with parents to

Visit the Smithsonian museum of your choice
Take a guided night tour of Washington, D.C.
Meeting: Thursday, April 20th
Lincoln Memorial; Korean War Veterans Memorial; Vietnam
Veterans Memorial 6 PM in the media center.
Day 2: Washington, D.C.
U.S. Capitol and Visitor Center Please return this RSVP via email or return the bottom slip
Library of Congress and U.S. Supreme Court
by Tuesday April 18th.
FDR Memorial; Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial; Jefferson Memorial
Visit Mount Vernon (mansion &museum); George Washington's tomb Warm regards,

Travel to New York City; visit the Empire State Building at night
Day 4: New York City
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
9/11 Memorial and Museum
Visit Times Square
Attend a Broadway show
Day 5: New York City
Take a guided tour of Midtown: Fifth Avenue;
Rockefeller Center; St. Patrick's Cathedral; Bryant Park
Visit Central Park; depart for home
