The lesson objective is for 9th grade English students to analyze a variety of literary texts using literary elements and techniques. Students will participate in an online simulation about Lord of the Flies to review the novel and literary devices. In the simulation, students will take on roles of characters from the book and interact with each other in scenes from the novel. This allows students to demonstrate their comprehension of the book and better understand characters and literary elements. Students will use their own laptops or devices with Adobe Flash Player to participate in the simulation.
