CARRY IN - CARRY OUT
TRASH PROGRAM
The JBSA Recreation Park is a Carry In - Carry Out Trash
Free Park. Visitors can also place their trash into the various
dumpsters throughout the park, reducing the strain on limited
resources and increasing the beauty of the parks.
- All fees will be charged on day of arrival. Reservations are
help us with the program. Thank you for your cooperation and
remember to recycle!
COUNTRY STORE
The Country Store is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and has the
following items for resale.
We sell ice year-round.
Beverages: soda, water, beer and more.
Food: can goods, candy, chips, crackers, nuts, smore fixings
and more.
Condiments: ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, coffee, sugar,
oil and more.
Miscellaneous: aspirin/acetaminophen, antacids, deconges-
tants, feminine products, toiletries, charcoal, charcoal starter,
fishing gear and more.
RESERVATION POLICY
Reservations may be made by active-duty six months in advance.
Reservations by all others may be made three months in advance.
Reservations are made by phone Monday through Friday from
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations in person are always welcome.
Reservations are not transferable from one party to another.
Pavilion/Group Camping Area/Picnic Area:
confirmed only after payment is processed.
- Pavilion and picnic areas are day use only.
- Day use ends at 10 p.m.
Campsites:
- Camp sites are available on a first-come, first served basis
in designated tent camping areas.
- All fire rings and grills will be cleaned by the customer.
- Check-out time for campsites is 11 a.m.
Park Cabanas/Bungalows/
RV Sites/Cabins/Cottages/Bunk Houses:
- Check-in time is 3 p.m. (if ready prior to 3 p.m. earlier
check-in will be accommodated) and check-out time is 11 a.m.
- All fees will be charged on day of arrival. Reservations are
confirmed only after payment is processed.
- Only one unit may be rented per DOD ID card.
- On federal holidays only one unit may be rented per DOD
sponsor ID card.
- Maximum stay in the park is one month. After that
time customer must vacate the park for a minimum of
seven days prior to another stay. Customer stays are limited
to 180 days out of a calendar year.
There is a 2-night minimum on weekends & holiday stays.
Cancellations:
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of check-in
time will be made free of charge. Cancellations made
between 48 and 24 hours prior to check-in time will be
charged a $15 adminstrative fee. Cancellations made within
24 hours of check-in time will be charged a one day usage
fee. The full payment will be forfeited if the customer fails
to contact the JBSA Recreation Park Reception Center.
Cleaning/Pet Fee
- Cleaning fees for lodging may be assessed at
$100. Pet fines of $100 will be assessed if pets are found in
lodging units that are not designated as pet friendly.
