Nowadays, many Filipinos who are fond of going abroad for some reasons or another,

there are people who want to spend time to have a vacation abroad, to continue their studies, to
have a better job and most of all they want to settle down there because they want to have a
better life. Even the fashion, yes, we want to look like people from western countries, we dont
want to be left behind. Today, Filipinos are seen all over the world.

But not all the Filipinos people are given the chance, to work abroad or to study, they are
being rejected by the embassy, they choose whom to leave. Did you know the feeling when you
have a family reunion but youre not all complete and every succeeding years you realized that
family pictures are getting emptier and emptier.

Nationalism in the dictionary involves a strong identification of a group of individuals

with a political entity defined in national terms. However, we can show our nationalism by being
disciplined, patronizing own products, being proud of your country, being a law abiding citizen
and many more.

Maybe in the future I will take advantage of whatever opportunities are coming in. But, I
will make sure that I am coming back to the place where I was born. Like Patricia
