During the last two summers I was employed by Mocean, a
company that manufactures police uniforms, as a Customer
Service Representative. While focusing on customer service, I still
preformed the necessities within an office like using specific
computer programs and using copy machines, among other tasks.
I also took customer orders and submitted them in a timely
manner.

I have also been heavily involved in volunteering. I have

volunteered with the American Cancer Societys charity event
called Relay For Life and I have volunteered with a local wellness
center. With ACS I was the Activities and Entertainment Lead
Coordinator where I was put on the Event Leadership Team and
coordinated all of the events and entertainment for the 24-hour
event. At the Wellness Center, I coordinated classes for people in
my community to get healthy, of which I did for 4 years. I am also
involved in the Freshman Leadership Opportunity at Chico State

Unfortunately, I was unable to keep my job and my volunteer

positions as I moved out of the area for school. Fortunately, I know
as a Leadership Manager I can continue to work with customers
and can continue to flourish in an office environment, while
utilizing what I had learned in my past leadership positions.
