INTRODUCTION ( To be lead by the Facilitator ):_____________________________
Let us put ourselves in the presence of the Lord and spend a few moments in forming
our thoughts on Him. Let us all be aware of the Lordss holy presence today as we pray
over our sister ________ , who will be receiving her
special gifts.

PRAISING ( By all in the prayer group. Facilitator to ask the participant to join in
praising the Lord ):
Lord, we thank you for your presence today, and we ask you that you bless us all
gathered here. Lord, please take away the tiredness of our bodies, relieve our
thoughts of all problems and anxieties, and help us to just feel your living presence.
Lord, we ask that you guide us in every way as we seek your special blessing for our
sister ____.

We thank you, Father, for helping us overcome the difficulties and oppressions we may
have experienced during the week. We ask that you continue to protect our sister ____
and her loved ones from all forms of danger and harm. Keep them safe and cover them
with the most precious blood of your Son, Jesus Christ. We also pray that you protect
all of us gathered here as we claim your honour and victory over the evil one.

EXORCISM ( To be done by one of the assigned members ):

Lord, in the Name of your Son, Jesus, we cast out all forms of evil spirits that may be
present with us this afternoon. All forms of evil spirits, we command you, in the Name
of Jesus, to depart from this place. Lord, we ask that you bind all these evil spirits in
hell and instead fill us with your Holy Spirit, your love, your graces, your warmth and
your happiness and peace.

DELIVERANCE FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN ( see concerns ):

Lord, as we ask for your special blessing for our sister ____ , we pray that you deliver
her from the bondage of
_( see concerns ). Our sister desires to receive the new life as you have promised and
she is seeking your grace to claim this promise. Help our sister _____ in her struggle to
turn away from her past wrongdoings. Grant her Lord, the grace to overcome her
weaknesses in her resolve to follow Your will. Lord, please give her the strength to
make definite resolutions against these wrongdoings as she gradually strives to
become a better person. We ask you Lord to cast out and heal whatever bitterness,
hatred, resentment and unforgiveness that our sister ____ might have on anyone. As
you have always shown your love and mercy towards us, we pray that you heal and
give our sister ___ the courage and strength to assume a repentant and forgiving
heart.

CONCERNS:
We lift up to your Lord, the concerns of our sister _____ ( state the concern/s ) knowing
that you are totally in control of all things, we lay before you these concerns. We seek
your wisdom in allowing her to discern and accept your will.

HEALING OF MEMORIES AND INNER HEALING:

We ask you Lord, to heal our sister ____ of memories of inner hurts and she may still
have today _____ ( state what the participant would like to be healed of ). We ask you,
Lord, to allow your inner peace to dwell and settle deeply in the heart of our sister
_____ .

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

Father, we now ask you, in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, that you pour your
Holy Spirit upon our sister _____ , so that she may receive new life. We thank you
Lord for giving our sister ____ this new life in the Holy Spirit. We pray that she may
receive the gifts she desires_____ ( state which gift ).

PRAY IN TONGUES ( Invite the participant to initiate this by moving her mouth/lips,
e.g. say Hallelujah, etc. ):
Lord, with the special gift our sister ____ has claimed today, we pray that she may be
given the grace to grow in this new life. Make her aware of the power of the gifts
which she received today, as she takes on the task of building a strong family for
Christ.

CONCLUDING PRAYER:
We thank you Lord for the wonderful gift/s that you have given to sister _____ .
Enable her Lord, to experience your living presence in the new life you have given her.
Grant her the grace and strength to keep her commitment to you as she starts a new
and meaningful Spirit-filled Christian life.
