Social Media

Definition : websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to
participate in social networking.

Examples : Twitter , Facebook , Instagram.

Advantage : -One the most important is to encourage interaction between students. This is
especially helpful in college environments where having students create a bond with the
institution can increase retention rates.

-The second advantage of the social media is connectivity. People from anywhere
can connect with anyone. We can stay in touch with our old friends too. Regardless
of the location and religion. The beauty of social media is that you can connect with
anyone to learn and share your thoughts.

-The main advantage of the social media is that you can update yourself from the latest
happenings around in the world. Most of the time, Television and print media these days are
biased and does not convey the true message. With the help of social media you can get the
facts and true information by doing some research.

Disadvantage : - The main disadvantage of socmeds is , cyberbullying . Since anyone can

create a fake account and do anything without being traced, it has become quite easy for
anyone to bully on the Internet. Threats, intimidation messages and rumors can be sent to the
masses to create discomfort and chaos in the society.

-Other than that , it has become quite easy for someone to hacking . Personal data and privacy
can easily be hacked and shared on the Internet. Which can make financial losses and loss to
personal life. Several personal twitter and Facebook accounts have been hacked in the past
and the hacker had posted materials that have affected the individuals personal lives.

-Social media can also easily ruin someones reputation just by creating a false story and
spreading across the social media. Similarly businesses can also suffer losses due to bad
reputation being conveyed over the social media.

Haze

Definition : Air pollution that causes fog and mist which is not good for our health.

Cause : - A result of large fires caused by illegal burning of forest and peat swamps,
often to create land for lucrative palm oil plantations as well as for subsistence
farming by local residents.

Effect : -Haze can cause both lung and heart disease. On the other hand, short-term
exposure to the haze tends to cause more effects on our upper respiratory tract
such as cough, throat irritation and runny nose.

Protection : - Stay indoors with closed doors

-Drink more water than usual this helps the kidneys flush out any toxins absorbed
through the skin and lungs.

-Cover your nose and mouth with mask when you go out.

Definition : - the condition of being grossly fat or overweight.

Cause : - Obesity often cause by eating unhealthy food and fast food , excessively . It can
excess calorie intake and increases the risk of obesity.

Effect : -Obesity has been associated with a wide range of diseases, disorders, and other
health concerns. For example, obese individuals are at an increased risk for high blood
pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and certain types of cancer.

HT control : eat a well-balanced diet and exercise regularly

National Day

Definition : A day which we becoming an independence and republic country.

Why we celebrate : -to remember the sacrifices of the heroes of our country who have fought
tooth and nail for Malaysia
Traditional game

Examples : Batu seremban , congkak

Most like : BS because its my hobby since in standard 4 .

BS meaning : It is was a historical and heritage kind of traditional game, unique and
differ. The game was inherited from the great grand generation of descendants
before world of civilisation.

Cleaning toilet

HT : After putting on your gloves, flush the toilet to moisten the inside of the bowl.

Apply your toilet cleaner to the edges of the bowl, making sure to get a generous amount under
the rim.

Scrub down the whole bowl, including the underside of the rim, with your toilet brush.

Extra Curriculum

Definition : -The extra subjects comprising a course of study in a school or college.

Examples : -Sports , associations and clubs and also uniformed unit .

Fav : Sports in races and playing netball .

Because : I have been in this kind of sport since I was a kid .

Advantage : They can help your child build their skills outside of the classroom

-extracurricular activities are great for developing general academic and soft skills.

Advantage : -any business include efficiency, time saving, better record keeping,
automation of processes and easier accounting.

Disadvantage : -loss of jobs, they may cause distractions and health complications
and can be harmful to the environment.

Abt her : Datuk Nicol Ann David (born 26 August 1983) is a Malaysian female professional
squash player. Beginning in August 2006, David was the world number one for a record-
breaking.

I like her bcause : She is an athlete who is very focused in both , academic and sport . The
proof is she broke the world record in the sport and achieved good results in SPM .
She also can held beauty with brain title among the athlete bcause of her sweet
faces and cleverness. I really adore her .
