Demonstration #1: K-2: Hungry Hungry Hippos ( 10-20 minutes)

Students goal is to work together as a group and be hippos to


gather their food
Students are to scooter around the gym and pick up the color bean

After they collect all the food the instructor will stop the activity and
switch up the students in what color they are looking for

Demonstration #2: 3-6 Body Control on Scooters


Have 4 UWRF/Students be goalies by wearing a pinnie of the same color pins they
will be guarding
Rest of the class goal is to scoot around the gym and grab a color gopher ball and try
to knock down the pins of the same color by using an overhand throw
Have students switch goalies after a set of pins are down
Have the class work together to see if they can knock down all the pins in 2 mins
Challenge** Create an obstacle for the people scooting around to knock down the
pins. Have them throw a little bit further, work on their underhand throw.
