jellybean math
Students were given packs of jellybeans
First thing is to sort jelly beans by color
Students placed jellybeans on a bean sheet as they sorted. The students were given another
sheet to tally their jellybean colors.
Students discussed the number for each color.
The students were given a sheet to graph their jellybean colors.

Science

What will happen if we heat up a marshmallow?


Students were given a sheet to write their prediction.
A marshmallow was placed on the plate and placed in the microwave.
o What do you think will happen?
o Students were instructed to make their prediction.
o Once the marshmallow was placed in the microwave for 45 seconds it began to
expand.
o The marshmallow became crunchy and started to burn at 35 seconds.

Great Activity. The students had lots of fun learning and exploring.
