Audience: 6th grade teachers who would like to know more about implementing Kahoot in their
classroom.
Materials needed: Meeting agenda, Creating a Kahoot handout, Different Types of Kahoots

Overview: This workshop will provide 6th grade teachers the opportunity to participate in a one-
hour workshop about the program Kahoot. During this workshop, teachers will learn how to use
Kahoot to formatively assess students and to use as an instructional tool. During the workshop, I
will provide the teachers with handouts to help assist them in better understanding the program. I
will also take them through the program to show the available features and how to best use them
in the classroom.
Learning objective: Teachers will be able to independently implement the use of Kahoot in the
ISTE Standards:

Assessment: At the conclusion of the session, the participants will complete a survey based on
Google Forms. I will use the information from the survey to analyze the overall effectiveness of

the workshop and my presentation. In addition, I will also determine if more coaching or
workshops are needed to help teachers successfully implement Kahoot in the classroom.
