Qualification : Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry or Biology or in a related field
with a thesis topic concerning Biochemistry or Biophysics.
Experience : Two years experience in relevant field.
Desirable : Experience in one or more of the following : i) Peptide
synthesis, purification and characterization. (ii) Cell Culture and high end
microscopy. (iii) Optics and laser spectroscopy. Should be capable of and
willing to learn about new cutting edge research tools and methods.
Job Description : The candidate will supervise, manage and maintain
facilities for peptide synthesis and purification, cell and tissue culture, and
laser microscopy and spectroscopy. He will help students and other
scientists use these facilities, closely work with their research projects, and
also pursue his own research under the supervision of the lab head.

Experience : 1-2 years experience in designing and debugging of high speed
analog, digital and VLSI circuits.
Desirable : Knowledge on electronics and data acquisition systems for science
experiments.
Job Requirement : The selected candidates are expected to study, design and
debug low noise analog circuits as well as high speed digital and VLSI systems
using CPLDs and FPGAs. Experience in hardware description languages as well as
programming soft processers will be essential requirements.

Chemistry/Biochemistry Laboratory.

(b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications .

Experience : Freshers as well as candidates with 1 or 2 or more years

experience in handling electronics (digital analogue), power supply and
control circuits. Experience in handling optical systems will be an added
advantage.

Qualification : i) Graduate in Hindi Literature and / or English Literature
and proficiency in both languages. (ii) Government recognized Diploma in
Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. (iii) Knowledge of typing in
Hindi. (iv) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
Experience : Minimum 2 years experience in translation from English to
Hindi and vice versa.
Desirable : i) Knowledge of typing in English. (ii) MS-CIT or equivalent
course.
Job Requirement : i) Translation/typing work related to scientific and
technical literature/ annual reports/bilingualism of notices/letters etc. (ii)
Experience of organizing workshops/Hindi week/Hindi Class etc. (iii)
Preparation/typing of minutes, circulars, letters. (iv) Administrative
experience.

General Information :
Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates for the above posts.
Candidates are liable to be transferred to other Centres/Field Stations of the Institute, if
required.
Appointment for the posts at Sr. No. 1 to 5 will be initially for a period of three years,
including probation period of one year. Continuing appointment beyond the initial period
of three years will be subject to the results of a comprehensive review and performance
appraisal. After successful review, the appointment is continued till superannuation age,
which is sixty.
For the post at Sr. No. 2 the applicants with over-qualification will be disqualified.
Selected candidate for the post at Sr.No. 2 will be required to work in shifts.
The candidate selected for the post at Sr.No. 3 will be posted to INO Project Site located
near Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

Selected candidates for the above posts will be governed by the National Pension System
applicable to the Central Government service [unless she/he is already governed by CCS
(Pension) Rules 1972].
Post/s for general category (Unreserved) SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates can also apply.

Candidates applying for above posts and who are eligible for further age relaxation as
per extant GOI rules are required to submit applications by POST, alongwith a copy of
relevant certificate in support of age relaxation (for example ex-servicemen,
persons with disabilities etc.). [SC, ST and OBC candidates applying for unreserved
posts are not eligible for age relaxation and should apply online].
Incomplete applications and applications without photocopy of certificate in support of age
relaxation and applications received after the last date shall not be considered. Applicants
in Government/Semi-Government/ Public Sector Undertaking must apply through proper
channel. Applicants who do not send their applications through proper channel, if called,
will be able to participate in the recruitment process only upon submission of an NOC from
the competent authority.
i. On-Line applications must be submitted by May 21, 2016 and
applications by post must reach Head, Establishment by May 21, 2016.

iii. Outstation candidates called for interview for the post at sr.no. 1 will be paid single
First Class (not air-conditioned)/III Tier A/C return train fare and
outstation candidates called for interview for the post at Sr. Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be
paid single Second Class (not air-conditioned) return train fare for the journey by the
shortest route from the nearest railway station of their place of residence on the
production of photocopies of onward and return journey tickets. Those candidate/s
who travel by air are required to travel only by the national carrier, AIR
INDIA with the tickets purchased from (a) Air India website or booking
counter or (b) through government authorized travel agents namely
Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd., Ashok Travels & Tours and IRCTC. The air-fare for
 such candidates will be restricted to Second Class (not air-conditioned)
return train fare on production of tickets and boarding passes.

iv. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the
recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and
experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling
the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for
the recruitment process. More vacancies may also be filled through this
