Observaii:
- numeralele mai sus de 999 se scriu cu , pentru a mpri cifrele in grupuri de 3: 2,159. pentru a desemna
fracii, se folosete ., deci contrar sistemului romanesc de notare a numeralelor.
- cuvintele hundred, thousand, million si dozen nu se folosesc la plural atunci cnd sunt precedate de un
cantitativ si urmate de un substantiv: two hundred years, several hundred thousand, etc.
