This patch fixes the following problems:

The following localization feature is included in V7.3.0.5 and was previously provided in
V7.3.0.4 and V7.3.0.3.
Localization for the French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese,
Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian languages.

Installation
Pre-installation
Before you install the patch:
Stop any Aspen Process Explorer application that is running on the target computer.
Stop any application that invokes methods in Process Explorer controls.

Installation
Obtain the patch installation .exe file from the AspenTech Support Center:
http://support.aspentech.com.

This patch may be installed for you automatically by the aspenONE Update Center. You
can access the aspenONE Update Center as follows:
1. Access the AspenTech Support page at http://support.aspentech.com.
From the Technical Library links, click Patches.
Log on by completing the Connect to support.aspentech.com dialog box.
Click the green aspenONE Update Center button at the top of the Patches page.
The Center will respond by searching for updates to your licensed AspenTech products.
Subsequently clicking Apply Updates causes the selected patches to be applied to your
computer.

Besides using the aspenONE Update Center, you can use the AspenTech Support web site
which allows you to manually find and download selected patches. In this case, you
would:

1. Run the patch executable, AspenProcessExplorerV7_3_Patch5.exe.


2. Follow all the patch install instructions.
3. Verify the patch executable completes without error messages.

To verify that the installation was successful, verify that the following files have the
specified file versions:

Also verify that this update appears as Aspen Process Explorer V7.3 Cumulative Patch5
(11.3.5.0) in the list of Installed Updates.
1. Invoke Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Select Programs from Control Panel.
3. Select Programs and Features.
4. Select View installed updates.
5. Confirm that Aspen Process Explorer V7.3 Cumulative Patch4 (11.3.5.0) appears
in the list of installed updates.

Previous Patch Releases


This cumulative patch includes all of the fixes that were included in the previous V7.3.0.4
cumulative patch.
