Description The Project was designed to assist a larger and motivated participation of citizens of

Position Project Coordinator for Moldova
Description Responsibilities facilitation of knowledge transfer to 12 Moldavian and Romanian trainees
on strategic planning, communication, participative decision-making, and international
project management for local governments. Capacity building provided to the piloted area
of Ungheni and HIncesti, and 12 trainees prepared to provide training on 4 topics for 180
civil servants and elected officials of local and regional authorities from the border regions
of Moldova and Romania. Complementary to the training component, 2 pairs of local
authorities from Moldova and Romania were assisted in implementing the knowledge
acquired during training courses and pilot projects.

Description Project aimed to contribute to the integration of minority population of Southern Moldova
into mainstream society of Moldova by providing adequate language training to civil
servants, who are willing to study the State Language. Responsibilities included preparation
and implementation of a full-fledged 3-cycle course on teaching Romanian language as a
foreign language for Civil and Municipal Servants (appr. 250 civil servants from different
professional groups). IDIS Consultants edited, pre-tested and printed handbooks, audio and
video recorded teaching materials for targeted beneficiaries, then launched and managed the
language courses of learning official language of the country.

Position Project Manager
Description Advocating for the Values and Scope of Autonomous Local Government in Moldova. The
project can be summarized as national wide initiative to advocate for the implementation of
effective reforms in the local public administration, compatible with European values and
basic freedoms and charts that are intrinsic to the concept and magnitude of the local
autonomy. Responsibilities included: develop and assist the legislative and normative
process that would improve the current functional framework for the local governments in
