the United States

Procedure:

1. In the News, Announcements, and Reminders (10 Min) Mr. Holley will examine the current
events and news stories

2. Voter Behavior PowerPoint (20 min) - I will introduce students to new vocabulary,
information, and maps dealing with voter behavior

3. Voter Behavior Video (10 Min)- students will watch a video on voter behavior that ties in
directly with the previous PowerPoint

4. 2016 Voter Demographics Charts (15 Min) - I will walk students through several different
maps and charts of 2016 voter data

5. Voter Scenarios (15 Min) - Students will demonstrate and apply the knowledge they learn in
order to identify the potential voting trends of hypothetical individuals.

6. Political Party Finalization (remainder) - students will join into 3 total political parties (2
major and 1 third party for the election on Tuesday.
