UNIT OBJECTIVES:
Students will learn new vocabulary for making travel preparations and getting around in an airport. Then use these words to talk about
travel.
Students will learn direct and and indirect pronouns and use it to describe travel plans.
Students will be able to describe what to pack for their trip.
Students will be able to describe the location, the climate, the cuisine, the music, and the most important sights to visit in Argentina.

Unit Summary:
In this unit, students will make plans to travel to Argentina. Students will be given the opportunity to research about the culture and the country
of Argentina before making their travel plans. We will review vocabulary that they will use to talk about their travel plans, what to do at the
airport, and what to pack for their trip.
We will explore the different climates expected in the Southern Hemisphere and also the different sites, music, and cuisine that they will get to
explore during their trip.
Students will talk about their travel arrangements in class. They will present their findings and activities in a written report and a presentation in
class. As a second activity, students will write a postcard to a friend in Argentina and will discuss about their upcoming trip.
