To Whom It May Concern:

I have served as Benjamin Houles School Counselor at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational
Technical High School. I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation in support of his admission
to your school.

Ben is a bright, funny, and kind student in the Information Technology Program who is not afraid to
challenge himself. He has taken a rigorous course load each year, including numerous honors courses
and four Advanced Placement courses. Bens work in Information Technology is also quite challenging
and includes training for the CompTIA A+ and CCENT certification exams, as well as, some web design and
computer programming components. It should be noted that Ben had to work extra hard in his vocational
area because he transferred from Manufacturing Technology to Information Technology part way through his
sophomore year. Consequently, he had a lot of catch up work to do. Since that time, Ben has acquired
many skills in Information Technology. He has even been asked to assist the schools technology
department in repairing our equipment from time to time. Ben has earned himself him a 94.63 GPA through
his hard work.

Ben is also involved in several extracurricular activities. Most notably, Ben has earned the rank of
Eagle Scout. His Eagle project included giving back to his community by making benches for Edward
P. Minor Field in Grafton. Ben has also volunteered at many town sponsored events through his
fathers business. In addition, Ben has been a member of the Valley Tech Cheese Club and the Valley
Tech Robotics Club.

Ben plans to further his education in Information Technology in pursuit of a degree in computer
science, computer engineering, or computer networking. He envisions himself working in artificial
intelligence and machine learning. Bens dream come true would be to work for Google. His
background knowledge in Information Technology and natural talent for this type of work will certainly
be of benefit to him in this endeavor. I wish him the best of luck. If you have any further questions,
