Trouble shooting

Problem Reasons/Remedies
1. Check that the power supply is properly connected to the alarm monitor
Green power LED does
not light 2. Check that the monitor(GJD-02C) fuse

1. Check that the detector protection cap

Remove protection cap

2. Check that the detector power supply (A-B [VDC] : 5 V)

Standard A-B Voltage = 5 VDC

- If it is not
Adjust detector power supply (A-B Voltage)
Yellow fault LED lights
a. Remove the four screws
securing the front plate andturn it
over to show the main circuit
board
b. rotate the potentiometer
(detector power supply
adjustment)
c. Ensure that A-B voltage on the
detector is 5.0 Vdc (0.4 V)

3. Check that the detector connector cable

Check damage, miss connection etc.

4. Sensor trouble

Replace sensor
 1. Check that the detector protction cap

Remove protevtion cap

2. Check that the sensor sensitivity (A-C [VDC] : 0.5 ~ 1.5 V)

Clean air condition :

Standard A-C Voltage = 0.5 ~ 1.5 VDC

- If it is not

Adjust detector sensitivity (A-C Voltage)

a. Remove the four screws
securing the front plate andturn it
over to show the main circuit
board
b. rotate the potentiometer
(Sensor sensitivity adjustment)
Red alarm 1&2 LED lights
c. Ensure that A-C voltage on
clean air is 1.0 Vdc (0.5 V)

2. Check that the alarm level

The alarm levels are already adjusted before leaving factory

Default valve is 300ppm for low alarm and 500ppm for high alarm, and relevant voltage is
2.5~2.7Vdc and 3.0Vdc, respectively

Alarm 1 level
(A1-0V) :
2.5~2.7Vdc

Alarm 2 level
(A2-0V) : 3.0Vdc

- If it is not

a. Adjust A1,A2 level (A1, A2 level adjustment)

b. Ensure that A1 level 2.5~2.7 Vdc, A2 level 3.0 Vdc
