Observation Task 1: Differentiating Centers

Focus: Differentiating centers based activities in the early


childhood classroom

Objective: To encourage student teachers to identify how


classroom centers can be differentiated to meet all student levels
(Mastery, Developing and Emerging)

Procedure: Photograph and document the center's based activities


implemented in the setting during the day and identify the learning
outcomes the activities met

if they know it and sit quietly in the class; the
students can also know the activities and be the
teacher helper in class

engaged during learning centers?
The teacher observes the students and be a guide to
them and tell them the information about the lesson
they are learning about

5. Do you feel it is important to offer tasks that are


developmentally appropriate for all student ability
levels? Why / Why not?
Yes te students have to have tasks that are good for
their learning levels because some of the students
are smart enough to finish the task before others and
other students can not finish it at the same time and
might be late to finish a certain lesson
