Birthday Golf!
On Monday 10th April the Ladies of
Richmond Golf Club gathered to
celebrate the 60th Birthday of former
captain, Rosie Sutterby. Rosie had
organised a team Stableford
competition, in the 1-2-3 Waltz
format, but to make it just that bit
more interesting, the ladies were
instructed to tee off alternately from
the yellow and red tees. Great fun was
had by all with some very good golf
played, but also some unusual shots
from time to time!
At the end of the competition Rosie
had organised for all the ladies to be
served delicious scones with jam and
cream, very well received after the
exertions of the morning.
As a fitting end to a wonderful day it
was Rosies team, herself plus Sandy
McCormack and Jane Playford, who
were the winners with a score of 65
points. Well done to them. Pictured are Left to Right: Sandy McCormack, Rosie Sutterby and Jane Playford.

Changes at the
Partnership
We are anticipating some major changes
at Wayland House this summer. Change
can be difficult, daunting and even a bit
scary, and for the Trustees of the
Wayland Partnership, these changes are
probably all three. But change can also be
seen as positive and an opportunity to
develop and that is how the Trustees and
our many Partners need to see it
Susan (pictured left) has been the energy
and inspiration behind the development
of the Dragonfly Gallery for the past ten
years. She has nurtured both the
volunteers and artists and done a
wonderful job for us. In addition, we have
had the support of her husband Richard
who has helped us with maintaining the
building. As a result of changes in their have to add to it the loss of Suzanne, the Marquee at the Wayland Show, to the
lives, they have decided to leave the whose husband, Alastair, is moving to a Mens Shed and the Job Fair and so much

will miss Susan enormously, not just Wayland. Susan and Suzanne are off to meet new
