Narrative

On June 14 , 2016 , at approximately 8 : 20 PM , Steven Zelkowitz responded to the

Miami Shores Police Department to make a report.

Zelkowitz , victim , advised that on April 19 , 2016 at approximately 4 : 00AM ,

while sleeping in the maid ' s room, he was awoken by his wife . Allison Nash ,
suspect , walked into the bedroom and approached a door where his suit was
hanging . She started looking through the pockets of the suit . He questioned
her as to why she was going through his suit and she said because he arrived
home late . He advised her to take the suit into her room so that he may continue
to sleep .

She then balled up the suit in her arms and started questioning him about his
whereabouts that even i ng . He told her they will speak in the morning. Nash
became agitated and a verbal altercation ensued. Zelkowitz advised that during
the altercation , Nash threw the balled up suit at him , from approximately three
to four feet away . When she threw the suit, the belt that was still attached to
the pants , struck him in his face on his forehead.

She yelled that she wanted him to leave the house . Zelkowitz refused to leave
the home and Nash responded by saying, "If you don ' t leave the house , I will
call the police and file a domestic battery complaint against you ." He told her
to call the police , because no domestic violence had occurred . She sated she
would call her father , and exited the room .

Shortly after 7 : 00AM , while everyone had already left the house , Zelkowitz went
to shower . As he was washing his hair, he noticed a strange smell from the
shampoo and believed it to be " Nair" and immediately rinsed it out . Zelkowitz
believes his wife may have switched the shampoo with " Nair ", so he gave the
shampoo bottle to his attorney for safekeeping.

Zelkowitz and Nash have been married for eighteen years and have two juvenile
children in common . The two children where in the home at the time of the
incident , however , did not witness it.

Zelkowitz completed a victim statement , however, declined to complete a

prosecution form at this time . A case card and domestic violence pamphlet was
provided .
