Business 1050
My Renaissance

It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most
Change is inevitable. There is no way to alter the course of it, but there are
ways to overcome it. What is your best choice when change comes around?
One can deduct from reading Natural Selection by Charles Darwin that the
species is able to adapt itself to the changes around it because if they do not
they can cease to exist. A business is no different from a species and I would
like to elaborate on this idea and speak a little more about my reactions and
between the species. Natural selection is the process in which nature creates
successful survive and reproduce. Therefore, nature basically picks out the
species that survives through the changes that it puts out. Economic

environments are always changing just as nature is, so if the people involved
in them do not adapt to unexpected changes they will lose out. Natural
environment. For a species these changes may include things such as:
changes that can affect a species and most of them have been created by
man. Now, lets take a real life example of an animal species that will have to
adapt to survive. The Galago monkeys use trees as a habitat and a food
source because they collect gum from it. As deforestation keeps getting
worse the Galago monkeys have two options to choose from. The first option
is to adapt or their second option is to die. If they do not adapt to the new
environment in which they reside they will slowly cease to exist, so the best
option lies in an adaptation process. Same thing in business there are many
drops in the market. There are a large amount of changes that occur in the
succeed.

Who succeeds? Who losses? The concept of survival of the fittest works
best to answer these questions. First off, survival of the fittest is the concept
that the species that were best adapted to the environmental changes
continue to exist, while the others are lost through extinction. That means
that the real strength of those that survive lies in their ability to adapt. A
company can be powerful and wealthy, but if they are unwilling to react to
change they can lose out on new opportunities. Which can in the long run
cause others to take them out of business. Say that there is a movement or
shift in the supply and demand curves of a certain product corporations need
to adapt to the new prices and or new quantity because if they dont they
can suffer damages. It all comes down to the idea that those that adapt will
lead because they are changing along with the environment. Those that do
not will lose out because they are busy trying to fight a current that cannot
be stopped.
because you can take real life examples and put it up against his theory
makes sense to me. Changes will always occur and you cannot cry about
them because that will not make them go away. What you can do is analyze
the changes and create a plan or process by which you can adapt and move
with the change rather than against it. Sometimes you will be able to adapt
through time, but other times the changes will require a quick response.
Either way for me success comes to those that can adjust to whatever is

order to outlive those that cannot adapt. Just like them businesses and those
they can modify things according to the new environmental changes they
will succeed if not they risk a loss. Those that adjust and mold to the new
conditions in the business world will profit, while the others suffer losses.
Those losses can drive people out of the market. Businesses need to
consider Darwins theory and ask themselves if they are prepared to adapt to
change in order to take a win. If not, are they prepared to take a loss?
Reflection
Business 1050 was a class unlike anything that I had expected. It was
influenced the business world. This class involved a lot of reading, critical
thinking, and discussion. My favorite part of the class was the discussions
that we held in class after each reading. Everyone had different opinions or
at least stated them in different ways, which was awesome. The students
were reading the same words, but they had different ways of decoding the
message within. I am glad that I took this class and I do not regret any

moment of it! I feel like my classmates and I all grew intellectually and just
