Description: This is a letter to the parents of the students with whom I participated in
service learning.

Dear Parents,
I am Mary Grace Winegar from Walters
State Community College. This semester, I am
participating in a service learning project for
one of my education classes. I will be spending
at least eighteen hours observing and working
with your child and Ms. Dobson. I look forward
to this experience as I begin to build a
foundation that will assist me in being a more
effective teacher when I have my own
classroom in the future. If you have any
