Mini Essay

Now that we are finishing our books, we are going to begin thinking about finding topics
to discuss which our books presented. Then we will research that topic to learn more. Below
youll find a prompt which asks you to discuss some of the topic you have chosen. Write a brief
essay answering the prompt. No more than a page. Be sure to study the rubric before writing, this
is what I will be looking for. In a sense, this is practice writing for your final essay which you
will write in a week.
Remember too, our discussions on how to write form earlier this semester. You dont
immediately begin writing. First develop a thesis an answer to the question below, and BE
SPECIFIC. Then create an outline, detailing what you will say in each paragraph. Once this is
done, begin your rough draft. One this is completed, edit, and rewrite.
