EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Jan. 2005 – May 2010: Technical Report Writer/NTP

Administrator
BioReliance–Invitrogen Bioservices Inc.

Primarily generated scientific reports for Commercial and NTP Preclinical Mammalian
Toxicity Studies for submission to US and International Regulatory Agencies (FDA,
OECD, MHLW, etc,) for the purpose of test articles registration. Study types included
toxicity and carcinogencity evaluation, enzyme induction, oncogencity testing, human
tumor passage procedures, cell proliferation, inhalation and polymerase chain
reaction (PCR) testing for DNA plasmid distribution. Reviewed protocols and
generated protocol amendments. Reports described the methodology used in the
conduct of study by providing a detailed description of the test, vehicle and positive
control articles, dose preparation, test system, and test procedure. Collated results
electronically from computerized data collection systems (Provantis, LDAS II and the
TDMSE programs); performed appropriate statistical analyses (including means,
standard deviations, Dunnett’s t-Test, Fischer’s Exact Test and ANOVA) on result
parameters using Provantis, Microsoft Excel and Minitab programs; and discussed
result data in accordance with regulatory agency requirements (FDA, OECD, MHLW,
etc,) and in acceptable scientific writing style. Data analyzed included mortality,
clinical observations, body weights and body weight gains, food and water
consumption, gross necropsy findings, clinical chemistry and hematology parameters,
histopathologic or microscopic findings, dose formulation analysis for evaluation of
accuracy of sample preparation, Bioanalysis and Toxicokinetics for evaluation of test
article exposure.
Used the LDAS II Program to initialize NTP studies, assign animals to cages, collect In-
Life data and manually enter In-Life and Pathology data; transferred data collected in
the In-Life and Pathology Workstations to the Administrative Workstation; built
transaction sets containing the collected In-Life and Pathology data; uploaded the
transaction sets to the TDMSE system; and requested and printed local In-Life and
Pathology reports.
Used the TDMSE to view and request all available In-Life and Pathology reports,
modified some reports to show extended selections, and stored reports in the
Extended Storage Selection.

Kept Clients informed of any developments during the conduct of the study and
addressed Clients’ review comments on Draft Reports and other concerns.

Generated, revised and reviewed SOPs.

Apr. 2003-Jan. 2005: Member of Technical Staff I/II

hemagglutination (HA) test, mouse antibody production (MAP) test, rat antibody
production (RAP) test and hamster antibody production (HAP) test. Tested for the
tumorigenicity of subcutaneously administered samples in nude mice, for the
pyrogenicity of intravenously inoculated samples in rabbits and for the development
of TSEs or ‘Scrapie’ in hamsters intracranially inoculated with client samples.
