Product Chembond LA is a synthetic rubber emulsion for

resistance. Also suitable as a bonding slurry.

Application Details
_______________________________________________________________________________
Substrate Concrete and mortar surfaces should be clean,
Preparation sound and free from oil, grease, cement laitance and
all loosely adhering particles. The surface should be
in a saturated surface dry condition.

Dispensing Chembond LA is generally added to the clean
mixing water within the range 1: 1-2.5.
Subsequent mortar application must be carried out
whilst the bonding coat is still wet.

Bonding Slurry Chembond LA: Water = 1:1, mixed with fresh
cement, should be vigorously brushed onto the
prepared surface.

Curing Standard curing practices must be followed.
_________________________________________________________________________________
Application First add the cement and aggregate into the mixer
and mix to a uniform consistency. Then add the
required quantity of diluted Chembond LA and
mix slowly for at least 2 minutes.

Cleaning Clean all equipment and tools with water
immediately after use.
_________________________________________________________________________________
Remarks Never use neat Chembond LA as a bonding agent,
always add cement and sand.

Precautions 1. Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed
off with water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed
with clean warm water. Seek medical attention
without delay.
