I am currently a senior at California State University, Long Beach pursuing a bachelors degree
in Community Health Science and I am writing to you today in hopes of being able to offer you
my services as a possible intern at your establishment.

My background includes years as a server with great communication and group work skills at
two different restaurant companies. Currently, I am working as a server at Mr. BBQ, where my
responsibilities include handling large amounts of money, ensuring and delivering quality food
for my guests, and guaranteeing guest satisfaction. I consistently give 100% effort when serving
my patrons in order to provide quick and friendly service in a great environment.

Previously, I have worked at another restaurant called Seafood Cove #2 where I was able to learn
and master each possible position over the course of two and a half years. As my first part time
job outside of the school district, I quickly learned how to treat others with respect as well as
give respect when required.

At both locations, I have gained a considerable amount of customer service skills as well as
communication skills while working in fast paced environments. I believe that my strong
background in restaurant and customer services is the key to helping me adapt to working in
other types of organizations.

In addition to my group and customer service skills, I am also able to offer proficient skills in
MS word, MS Excel, and GoogleDocs, and GoogleSlides. I am also a great problem-solver and
am able stay organized while multitasking.

I am confident that I can offer you assistance in your duties and will be a great asset to your
