Readers Response Letter for e-Portfolio & Final Portfolio Essay (FPE)
Dear Class, Nikita Deshmukh

First semester of my freshman year I took UWRT 1101 and this portfolio is similar to

what I completed for that class. For this portfolio, I will gather all of my previous blog posts and

significant assignments that I wrote for this class.

Some of the important assignments include the developing curiosity Essay, the

bibliography, the multi-genre project, blog posts, and other things of that sort. I have to include

additional pieces of writing that can come from a variety of choices such as drafts that I never

finished, notes, brainstorming ideas, etc. I need to also include feedback artifacts which include

any kind of positive or negative criticism given to me by my teacher or my peers based on what I

have written.

Another important is notebook artifacts which are items from my notebook that include

any kind notes or ideas that I have written in the spur of a moment. The final couple of required

artifacts are wild card artifacts which consist of a random artifact from UWRT 1102 or any other

class that helped to better understand things like key concepts, or the big theme of developing

curiosity, since thats what UWRT 1102 is based off of.

In the end, I have to compile all of them in a particular order so that it doesnt seem like I

put together a bunch of different pieces of work with no cohesion. Im really glad to get this

assignment because it will really help me see how much Ive progressed from the beginning of

the semester till now. A portfolio is a great project for me because I can show off my work to

anyone else in my future years when Im applying for a job or applying for a position related to

writing because this portfolio can help me show off my skills.

I believe that I can learn from this because this is a large project that requires me to space

it out efficiently and have time management skills so that I dont fall behind. I want to excel at

this project so that I can prove to others that I have something to show. In this project, I need to

write in a professional matter so that it is presentable. This project is due at the end of the

semester and I must start working on it now so that I can finish on time with quality work. I

believe this reflection is helping me out because I am able to write my goals so that I know how

much work I need to do in order to succeed in UWRT 1102.
