b) Traffic Patterns: The room was set up in a large square that had desk in
sets of four inside of it. This allowed for the teacher to be able to easily
navigate her way throughout the room and see how everyone was doing.
The way they were set up also allowed for the students to easily get into
groups so that they could work together. The desk flowed in a way that
made it easy for the students to get to the smartboard, and the board in
the back where there morning work was located.
d) Classroom Management: One of the things that she did that I liked was
that she had the daily schedule on the wall in the back of her room. She
also put the kids at doing different task every week so that they each had
a job. The kids were engaged in what they were doing in the class and
interacted with what she said to do.
e) Motivational Elements: She had a clip system that the she used to
either move the kids up or down depending on their behavior. She also
rewarded them with extra free time outside or inside.
